HooverSlovacek LLP is proud to announce the promotion of Daniel Edmunds and Colin Guy to the Firm's partnership effective January 2022.

Daniel Edmunds is a member of the Landlord/Tenant Practice Group and joined the Firm in 2019.
Daniel is a litigation attorney focused primarily on property-related claims. Daniel joined the firm after serving over 7 years in the United States Marine Corps as a JAG Officer. Daniel's experience includes defending and prosecuting premises liability claims, breach of contract and other commercial disputes, claims involving public utilities and municipal law, landlord/tenant disputes, labor and employment claims, and representation of the apartment industry across a wide range of litigation matters.
Daniel received his bachelor's degree from The University of Tennessee, and his juris doctor from The University of Memphis in 2011.
Colin is a member of the Litigation Practice Group and has been with the Firm since 2019, having joined the firm with equity partner Leonard J Meyer with whom he had practiced at a previous law firm since 2014.

Colin's litigation experience includes breach of fiduciary claims involving wills, trusts and partnership disputes; residential and commercial construction defect disputes; breach of contract and other commercial litigation; securities; claims for equitable relief; and representation of hospitals and healthcare providers in medical malpractice claims.
Colin received his bachelor's degree from The University of Texas, and his juris doctor from South Texas College of Law in 2012, having graduated summa cum laude there.
